Trans Sexual Podcast was born of a desire, dare I say it, a NEED for a new fulfilling project.

Something nice.

So here’s my gift to you! You deserve it.

Trans folks appear on lots of sex podcasts, though often only as guest episodes. I wanted something that was ALL TRANS ALL OF THE TIME. Part educational, part personal storytelling and lived experience. Deep, intracommunity conversations that draw out the richness of trans pleasure and sex. Well beyond the 101. Hopefully a space to gently soothe listener shame, internalised stigma, or even show new possibilities of how and why one might fuck.

Can I say fuck? Sure. This is an ADULT PODCAST, after all.

Your dear host, Juniper (she/they), has a professional background in mental health, research, sexology, and education. She’s also of trans experience and working and living in queer community in Naarm, on unceded lands on the Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nations. They take pride in knowing many of Naarm’s coolest (and filthiest) trans and gender diverse darlings, and can’t wait to introduce them to you, treasured listener.

Laura Davis’ Infraghosts is the gorgeous music you hear on our intro and outro. Video artist, musician and cynical Melbourne trans babe pulls shapes, bends circuits, plays new-wave heavy synthpop over Hi-NRG claps and takes her audience by force. Specifically, you hear ‘Simple’ and ‘If Thoughts Were a Sin’, off her album Body Heat. Check out her website and bandcamp!

Briar did such a good job of the logo, I immediately want merch, but perhaps let’s see how this project goes. Do you want it on a tee? Tote bag? Key chain for your strap?
